La Sagittaire

This mural is a collaboration by Belgian artists Spear, Nean & Iota. Its title is inspired by an aquatic herbaceous plant often used as an ornamental species, and also echoes the idea of affirmation associated with the astrological sign Sagittarius.

For the artists, the work symbolizes more than a simple juxtaposition of individual styles: it is the opportunity to grow a new, shared identity...something unique that emerges from their encounter.

It's part of the visual arts festival IC.ON.IC, spearheaded by Amiens Métropole, officially launched its 4th edition on 16 September 2024. This year’s edition celebrates the plurality and diversity of visual arts across the region, featuring contributions from over sixty artists through three dynamic offerings.
