Beyond her sporting achievements, Alexia stands as a symbol of empowerment — a role model who redefines leadership, excellence, and visibility for women in sports.

The mural’s location in Mollet del Vallès, her hometown, carries deep symbolic weight. It was painted by Dase (Marc Álvarez), a renowned urban artist who also hails from Mollet. Known for his hyperrealistic style and commitment to art as a social catalyst, Dase’s work becomes even more meaningful through this shared origin. The result is a powerful local tribute to a global icon, rooted in a common history and community pride.

Located on Avinguda de Burgos, in front of schools and public transit stops, the mural covers 104 square meters and has become a landmark in the city. The portrait of Alexia, calm yet powerful, emerges against a background of cool, dynamic tones that highlight her presence. Dase’s technique blends technical precision with emotional depth, producing a composition that speaks of strength, identity, and aspiration.
