Animalinas #21 - Kerkuil

 Ontdek hier alle interventies die deel uitmaken van het lopende Animalinas-project.

Ga bij Broekstraat 153 of Fontijnstraat 1 de parkeergarage in, loop vanaf daar het bos in en volg de borden ‘Bezoekerscentrum’. Bij aankomst wacht u een kleine verrassing.

Kunstproject Animalinas, een samenstelling van de woorden 'animals' en 'Malinas' vestigt de aandacht op dieren als ooievaars, ijsvogels, bevers, egels en knautiabijen die symbolisch zijn voor de omliggende natuurgebieden.

Graffitiartiest Dzia - bekend voor zijn dierenportretten - bracht de portretten van deze dieren op meerdere plaatsen in de Mechelse natuurgebieden aan. Deze portretten verschenen ook in boekvorm.

At Broekstraat 153 or Fontijnstraat 1, enter the car park, from there walk into the forest and follow the signs 'Visitor Centre'. When you arrive, a little surprise awaits.

Art project Animalinas, a compound of the words ‘animals’ and ‘Malinas’ draws attention to animals such as storks, kingfishers, beavers, hedgehogs and knautia bees that are symbolic of the surrounding nature reserves.

Graffiti artist Dzia - known for his animal portraits - applied the portraits of these animals in several places in Mechelen's nature reserves. These portraits also appeared in book form.
