NEDERLANDS - Aan het kruispunt van de Rubensstraat en de Breemputstraat in de wijk Kassei, werd in 2019 deze machine geplaatst. Het is een oude kammachine van Van Landegem-Hellemond. Zij maakt deel uit van het Industrieel Straatmuseum van Vilvoorde. Met de beschilderingen wenst de stad een hedendaagse toets te geven aan deze oude relicten. Dit toestel werd beschilderd door illustrator Julie Vangeel.

ENGLISH - This machine was installed in 2019 at the intersection of the Rubensstraat and the Breemputstraat in the district Kassei. It is an old combing machine of Van Landegem-Hellemond. It is part of the Industrial Street Museum of Vilvoorde. With the paintings, the city wants to give a contemporary touch to these old relics. The machine was painted by illustrator Julie Vangeel.
