"Timur Fork comes from Russia and, over the past few years, has developed a technique that has become his signature: plasticine realism. His starting point is one of the simplest things imaginable: modelling clay.

Handmade shapes, with their bumps, folds and fingerprints. Nothing perfectly straight, regular or symmetrical. And Fork uses an incredibly precise technique to reproduce all of this on walls. (...)

After a difficult period in his life that led him to look at his work differently, Timur chose to return to what felt essential to him: joy, simple things, humour, childhood and the beauty we sometimes forget to notice.

And then his characters appeared. Fork calls them companions. (...) They are a little wonky, never quite perfect, but immediately endearing. And above all, they travel. Fork leaves them behind in different cities around the world. A funny group of friends scattered across several continents." (descripion from the COLORS Urban Art Festival homepage)
