Man or Bear?

For Nuart 2024, the Undergangen Collective visited Stavanger and installed more than 200 artworks, including paste-ups, paper collages, and ceramics. Due to the temporary nature of their material many of the works have since disappeared, but many of the ceramic pieces remain.

The collective brought together four female artists: Miss Printed, Dish, Hello the Mushroom, and KBR. Their work explored the question, “Who would you choose to be alone in the woods with: a man or a bear?” and highlighted important concerns about women’s safety and their experiences in public spaces.
