BesArt – The River Museum is a large-scale open-air urban art museum along the 18-kilometer Besòs River, transforming a once heavily polluted waterway into a vibrant cultural and ecological destination. Created by the Mediterranean Street Art Association (AMSA) in 2016 and officially launched in 2023 with the Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona and the City of Santa Coloma, the project combines urban art, sustainability, and social inclusion. Its first phase introduced 48 murals and sculptures by local and international artists, making BesArt a landmark for cultural regeneration and community engagement.
Aryz was the first artist to start this project.
