The Return of the Griffin

Œuvre réalisée pour le festival Just Paint à Saint-Brieuc, en France, en 2026.

L’artiste à propos de son œuvre : « J’ai eu une nouvelle fois l’occasion de peindre en Bretagne, en France. Cette fois-ci, dans la ville de Saint-Brieuc. Pour cette fresque, j’ai utilisé le griffon, symbole présent dans l’identité visuelle du festival de cette année, sous le titre « Le Retour du Griffon », qui reflète également mon propre retour dans cette ville pour y peindre et qui est en même temps le symbole de la ville.

L’un des plus grands défis a été d’adapter la composition à l’architecture complexe du bâtiment, avec ses volumes changeants et ses zones difficiles d’accès. Au final, je suis vraiment satisfait du résultat et reconnaissant d’avoir eu la chance de représenter une nouvelle fois mon pays lors d’un festival international.”

The artist about his work: “Once again, I had the opportunity to paint in Brittany, France. This time in the city of Saint-Brieuc. For this mural, I used the griffin, the symbol featured in this year’s festival identity, under the title “Le Retour du Griffon”, which also reflects my own return to paint in this city and at the same time is also the symbol of the city.

One of the biggest challenges was adapting the composition to the building’s complex architecture, with its changing volumes and hard-to-reach areas. In the end, I’m really happy with the result and grateful for the chance to represent my country once again at an international festival.”
