The Peace Soldier Mural is painted in Saint-Brieuc, France, for the festival Just Paint and is part of the artist's project 'Peacemakers'
The artist about his work: "Painting as an act of hope, an invitation to imagine a future where paintbrushes replace weapons, colors triumph over conflict, and the next generation chooses creativity over violence.
It was an interesting challenge to paint in a covered passage like this. The space felt quite dark, so I wanted to transform it into a colorful passage, doing an immersive work painting the roof as well. Continuing my Peacemakers series, with this little peace soldier painting colors as a symbol of hope, and using art as a tool for peace.
Finally, this mural had a very personal meaning for me. My grandparents and my mother grew up in Saint-Brieuc, so painting here truly felt special."
