Lembit, The King of Hill

At Viesītes Street 3, you can see the large-format mural ''Lembit, The King of Hill,'' which is the first augmented reality object painted by the robot "Albert" of the Estonian and American company "SprayPrinter." The author of the drawing is an Estonian street artist who hides behind the pseudonym Edward von Lõngus. The augmented reality technique gives life to black-and-white drawings in movements and colors that are visible when the object is scanned with a mobile application. The drawing is located in Pārdaugava, thus raising the value of the urban environment outside the center and decentralizing Riga's cultural events.

The drawing is part of the digital street art project "(R)estart Reality" and is included in the Estonian Centennial Program. As part of the project, in honor of the centennial of the state of Estonia, street art objects were unveiled across Europe that symbolize the cultural history of the Baltic region and important figures in the history of our neighboring country. The digital street art project ''(R)estart Reality'' has traveled to Rome, Paris, London, Helsinki, and other places, choosing Riga as the finale of the project.
