SAUVAGE

This project came about thanks to the trust of Simone Priori, Director of the I PETALI shopping centre (Reggio Emilia).

The work is at the entrance to the north wing of the centre, created during the Keith Haring exhibition.

The SAUVAGE mural speaks of the wildness that is in every living creature, of Nature and how it is intrinsically connected to all things. The theme of 'going back to basics' is not new and certainly much debated at the moment, but urgently needed.

Discovering ourselves as instinctive, daring, curious, courageous and in a certain sense primitive gives the human being an aspect of authenticity and reality that we often forget to have in our hectic lives. Listening to oneself is the focal point of the process and that is what art is for, to make the viewer listen to what he or she is observing.

The SAUVAGE mural was also possible thanks to the collaboration of several local companies that supported the project by providing their technical and practical expertise: Icolors, Caparol, Colormatters, Armonie di colore.
