Jelly Dream

An explosion of colours inspired by the playful world of jelly beans and jelly babies: this is how Spike Clark transforms the wall of the INPS building in Padua into a vibrant mural that evokes sweetness, energy, and imagination.

The work stems from the desire to find a balance between graphic precision and spontaneous movement. Soft curves, sharp lines, and structured backgrounds create a visual rhythm that alternates between order and chaos. The artist used fat caps to produce dynamic effects typical of writing, balancing them with more controlled and intentional strokes, within a coherent and pulsating pictorial language.

Positioned alongside the intervention by Boogie.EAD, the mural visually merges with it, establishing a dialogue between forms, colours, and gestures in a continuous flow of shared energy.

“Jelly Dream” is not only an homage to colour but also a visual reflection on the boundary between freedom and discipline, between the instinct of the gesture and the care for detail. A work that offers itself as both a playful and symbolic space, capable of revealing, through its pop-infused hues, the complexity and vitality of dreaming.
