Atlaswerke 4

This year's festival theme image was created by DieserDennis (right). His picture Midsummer Meltdown at the Atlaswerk fitted very well to the hot temperatures in August 2022. The work stands out a little from the classic graffiti styles at the Atlaswerk. The works by DieserDennis are more reminiscent of colourful illustrations.

Coconut belongs to the first generation of the graffiti scene in Paderborn as a member of the Alme Crew. Thanks to him Paderborn is not only famous for its grey bread and beer, but also for graffiti. His started to paint graffiti more than 25 years. His trademark is a special fading in the letters from red to yellow to white, which can be seen in the letter ‘C’ in almost all of Coconut's styles. His letters are characterised by a very fine, almost linear shape.

Fiete (left) is a member of the Moin Tang Clan, which is not only known for funny content on Insta, but also primarily stands for graffiti. Every year, larger chapter meetings are held across Germany, where graffiti, music and new reels are celebrated. As with its namesake, the Wu-Tang Clan, the exact number of members is unknown. In contrast to his wall neighbour, Fiete paints his letters thicker and blockier. Fiete chose an urban skyline under the night sky as the background for the Atlaswerk. You couldn't have imagined a more beautiful backdrop for the bold style at the entrance to the company premises.
