The proposed theme for the mural project focuses on Asturian wildlife threatened with extinction. To this end, the artist was sent an informative dossier via e-mail on the subject. Taquen chose to work around the figure of the wolf, an animal described in the Plan for the Regulation of Natural Resources of Asturias (PORNA) as a “singular species”. 

30/3/24 - The mural is still there but extremely faded. In fact if you didn't know it was there you might not notice it at all. Look closely though the the outlines of the wolves can still be seen... just
