Mirall

“Mirall” was created within the framework of diversity, a theme proposed by the local council.

The mural represents the relationship between two boys who coexist within a marine symbiosis, a changing environment that symbolizes society and human interconnectedness. Facing each other, both characters are shown as equals despite their cultural differences.

One of them is made up of robotic parts, a recurring element in my work that invites reflection on what it means to be human in an increasingly technological society. Through this figure, I aim to convey the message of being less automatic and rigid, emphasizing empathy, emotional connection, and authenticity in a world where technology often distances us or demands difficult adaptations.

The aquatic environment and the koi fish surrounding them reinforce the idea of harmony, balance, and diversity, reminding us that cultural and sexual differences can coexist and mutually enrich each other when they flow within the same space.
