"PERSEVERANCE"

When he’s not creating work for Disney’s fine art collection Connecticut artist Ryan Christenson, aka ARCY, can be found painting murals across the globe. In 2017 the Arts Council of New Orleans invited ARCY to make a stop there where he created this piece for the headquarters of the New Orleans Fire Department at Girod and Carondelet Streets. “Perseverance” depicts the Louisiana state bird, the Brown Pelican, and honors the Fire Department’s impact on the surrounding community.
