Les deux lions de Ciply

Pour cette réalisation, le projet l'Art habite la Ville accueille un artiste de renommée internationale : Curtis Hylton, muraliste britannique dont les œuvres sont visibles au Royaume-Uni, en Europe et bien au-delà. Son univers poétique et spectaculaire mêle animaux, fleurs et végétation pour faire entrer la nature dans les espaces du quotidien.

À Ciply, l’artiste a imaginé une fresque inspirée de l’identité du village. Les deux lions font référence à son blason et symbolisent la protection. Les mésanges rendent quant à elles hommage aux enfants de la crèche Baby-Choux, dont le mur accueille l’œuvre.

Tout autour, fleurs, végétation et animaux composent un décor foisonnant, caractéristique de l’univers de Curtis Hylton.

For this new project, L’Art habite la Ville welcomes an internationally renowned artist: Curtis Hylton, a British muralist whose work can be seen across the UK, Europe and beyond. His poetic and spectacular universe combines animals, flowers and vegetation, bringing nature into everyday spaces.

In Ciply, the artist has created a mural inspired by the village’s identity. The two lions refer to the village coat of arms and symbolise protection. The blue tits pay tribute to the children of the Baby-Choux nursery, whose wall now features the artwork.

Surrounding them, flowers, vegetation and animals create a lush scene characteristic of Curtis Hylton’s artistic universe.
