Magnificent Malanda Mural, located in Malanda, Queensland, Australia.

This large mural measures 22m wide by 7.5m high and was funded through an Arts Queensland Regional Arts Development Fund with support from the Malanda Chamber of Commerce.

The artwork is inspired by the local landscape and maps, featuring elements like rivers, roads, and community aspects. It was painted by 25 talented young people from the MalandabYouth Group with direction and hands-on collaboration by aerosol artist Daniel Wallwork.

Malanda is a town known for its rainforest walks, panoramic views, wildlife, and a successful dairy industry, situated near the Malanda Falls.

The mural reflects the community pride of Malanda, a town located 85 km from Cairns and 732 meters above sea level.
