Silvestre Santiago, better known by his street art nickname Pejac, is a Spanish street artist with several talents. Born in Santander in 1977, he uses painting techniques and brushes just as skilfully as with stencils, paper and collages. 

His style can be described as minimalist yet poetic. Pejac's work often cleverly plays with the natural environment and integrates it, resulting in surprising optical effects. 

In many of his works, Pejac uses only one color – black – to subtly sketch the delicate, fleeting silhouettes of his motifs.

"I prefer to speak with a soft voice," Pejac said in one of his rare interviews, metaphorically describing his poetic approach to creating subtle but impactful studio pieces and urban interventions. "When people speak with a soft voice, others come closer to listen."
