Jaws film mural

This mural, located at the end of the Library hallway on the 1st floor, depicts the poster for the film 'Jaws', directed by Steven Spielberg in 1973, which was a massive worldwide success. The plot revolves around a group of characters determined to stop, at all costs, a great white shark that is terrorizing the coast. The film's success was so immense that two sequels were produced, and some of its scenes have been copied tirelessly in other productions featuring marine killers, such as Piranha (1978) and Orca (1977).
