Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente was a broadcaster, documentarian, and naturalist outreach expert. Born in 1928, his unique speaking style and prosody made him a household name on television. He awakened environmental awareness, becoming a pioneer in the defense of natural habitats, flora, and fauna. His advocacy for the wolf and other indigenous species of Iberian wildlife earned him the respect and admiration of a large part of the population, though it also drew the animosity of many others.
