GIRL ON A SWING

Recreation of the acclaimed artwork by Banksy, "Girl on a Swing", by MRE, where the artist has replaced an L.A. parking Lot, for a Garage in Usera ( a popular neighborhood in Madrid) as setting .

It is a simple stencil work on a Garage Door that serves as white canvas, with the addition of a black crescent moon in the top left and clusters of shrubs at the bottom.

As in the original artwork by Banksy, the message of this piece is the necessity of creating places in cities where children can joyfully play on a swing.
