Home Is My Heart

This is the mural “Home is My Heart” by artist Güneş Terkol, created in collaboration with Global Street Art. The artwork was permanently installed on the exterior wall of the Middlesex Street Estate as part of the annual contemporary art festival Art Night London and was unveiled on 1 July 2017.

The artwork, which was made possible through a partnership with the City of London Corporation and 86 individual funders, was created in collaboration with local residents. The images depict the residents’ hopes and dreams, as well as their connection to the neighbourhood and their neighbours.
