As she herself explains: - In my work I want to leave space for viewers to reflect, without explicitly imposing my version of the story. That's why the figure I depicted has no religious emblems. The image of Saint Mary should be accessible to everyone. This is because she expresses universal beauty, which human beings should delight in.
