Ricard Viñes

Ricard Viñes was a Catalan pianist born in Lleida in 1875. He later lived mainly in Paris, where he became one of the most influential pianists of the early 20th century, closely linked to composers such as Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, and Erik Satie. He also spent periods in Barcelona and toured extensively across Europe and Latin America, helping introduce and promote avant-garde piano music.
