Lens

This is the first large scale mural in our mission to transform the whole of Ljusdal to the world’s biggest art exhibition. It’s called ”Lens” and is made by the mighty WD Wilddrawing! The thing about this piece is that it’s an anamorphic/3D painting, and in order to see it the way it’s meant to be seen, you have to stand at the right point of view! So how do I know where that is?
Just look at the sidewalk for the two footprints! If you look at it from there, you’ll see all figures pop out of the wall with their right dimensions and not stretched out (third pic). Try it out yourself!
Also notice in the first pic how he managed to bring the illusion of a big chunk of wall being carved out to the upper left, by painting in the colour of the facade fron the building behind it! Genious!
