23700 Arte Urbano Linares es un festival de arte público que pretende democratizar el arte y sensibilizar por medio de murales que dialogan con el espectador a pie de calle. Estamos logrando dinamizar el entorno creando recursos que aportan al desarrollo turístico y cultural de Linares, transformando el entorno urbano y difundiendo la imagen de nuestra ciudad ligada al arte y la cultura.

El nombre del festival surge del código postal de nuestra ciudad.

Nuestra misión es democratizar la cultura, hacer accesible a todos los ciudadanos y visitantes la experiencia del arte al aire libre.

Linares es una ciudad que ha vivido desde el inicio de la década de los 90´s un auge importante de arte urbano.

Los jóvenes de Linares siempre se han sentido atraídos por las nuevas tendencias artísticas urbanas como: el arte urbano, el tatuaje, el skateboard, entre otros, esto ha permitido su evolución y desarrollo.

Concretamente en el tema del arte urbano todo comenzó con grupos de jóvenes pintando por las calles y organizando sus propias exhibiciones, invitando artistas de las localidades aledañas que compartían su misma inquietud. Años más adelante, el Instituto de la Juventud de la Junta de Andalucía percibe un ecosistema ideal para poder desarrollar el Certamen Andaluz de Graffiti, que se celebró durante más de 5 años.

Gracias a esta iniciativa, Linares se posiciona como una ciudad abierta al arte y a una comunidad familiarizada con estilos y expresiones artísticas sin duda contemporáneas.

No podemos dejar atrás que gracias a este entorno creativo surge en Linares una de las figuras más representativas de esta vanguardia a nivel mundial: Belin.

Miguel Ángel Belinchón es un artista autodidacta que ha evolucionado su técnica y discurso hasta hacer de esta actividad su forma de vida profesional. Lo que ha permitido una relación cercana con los artistas urbanos más destacados de nivel mundial y hacerlos accesibles a nuestro proyecto.

Linares vive un ocaso de actividad económica y despoblación juvenil que como consecuencia disminuye la oferta artística contemporánea.

We are managing to energize the environment by creating resources that contribute to the tourist and cultural development of Linares, transforming the urban environment and disseminating the image of our city linked to art and culture.

The name of the festival comes from the postal code of our city.

Our mission is to democratize culture, making the experience of outdoor art accessible to all citizens and visitors.

Linares is a city that has experienced an important boom in urban art since the beginning of the 90's.

The young people of Linares have always been attracted to new urban artistic trends such as: urban art, tattoos, skateboarding, among others, this has allowed their evolution and development.

Specifically on the topic of urban art, everything began with groups of young people painting in the streets and organizing their own exhibitions, inviting artists from surrounding towns who shared their same concern. Years later, the Youth Institute of the Junta de Andalucía perceived an ideal ecosystem to be able to develop the Andalusian Graffiti Contest, which was held for more than 5 years.

Thanks to this initiative, Linares is positioned as a city open to art and a community familiar with undoubtedly contemporary artistic styles and expressions.

We cannot leave behind the fact that thanks to this creative environment, one of the most representative figures of this avant-garde worldwide emerges in Linares: Belin.

Miguel Ángel Belinchón is a self-taught artist who has evolved his technique and discourse to make this activity his professional way of life. Which has allowed a close relationship with the most prominent urban artists worldwide and made them accessible to our project.

Linares is experiencing a decline in economic activity and youth depopulation, which as a consequence decreases the contemporary artistic offer.
