You can spot this almost 300 m² of street art on the Neringweg in Lelystad. On the mural, you can see Cornelis Lely, the founder of Flevoland, with a large beaver on the other side. The artwork depicts the origin of Lelystad. The dynamic shapes and depths are very typical for both the artistic duo's, with the artists from Bier en Brood painting mostly in black and white and the duo of Karski and Beyond painting often in bright colors. The combination of both these couples makes for a great collaboration, with lots of interesting elements.
Augmented Reality
By means of a special Augmented Reality technique, you can make this painting come to life. On the left side of the work, you will find a sign with a QR code that you can scan. This unique AR layer was developed in collaboration with Moyosa Media. The combination of Augmented Reality and street art is unique. In the Netherlands, only a handful of street artworks have an AR layer.
