First catch your hare

This work is by artist duo Pipsqueak was here!!. The name Pipsqueak literally means 'someone who is not important'. By saying 'Pipsqueak was here!' they emphasize the contradiction between the two statements; small and unimportant, yet loud and presumptuous. As they describe themselves, they are working on 'making their little voices heard'. Pipsqueak works with stencils. Children and animals often play a major role in their artworks. Their motto, in direct line with this, is 'caution: children at play'. It illustrates the childish behavior of our human nature playing with mother earth. 
 
Pipsqueak was here: "the meaning of the title of this work is that you have to acquire something before you decide what to do with it, don't sell the bear's skin until it's shot". This work can be found in the Agorahof in Lelystad.
