WESTWERK is located in Leipzig-Plagwitz, between Karl-Heine-Straße and Weißenfelser Straße, directly next to the König-Albert-Brücke bridge on the Karl-Heine Canal. The origins of this former industrial site date back to the 19th century. WESTWERK is a meeting place for everyone, and its offerings are correspondingly diverse and extensive: restaurants, exhibitions, markets and music events, theater, continuing education, and more. Craftspeople, artists, retailers and business owners, freelancers, associations, and musicians find in WESTWERK a place for collective and progressive work, a place to be, to realize their goals, wishes, plans, and projects.
Alongside other artworks, you can find many murals of Lazy Eye / Synthectic Dreams at this spot. It's really worthwhile visiting! The works are regularly painted over though, so they may differ from what you see here.
