Home in Exile

This mural portrays two women from different generations, symbolizing the shared experience of exile. One is a young journalist forced to flee Myanmar after the military coup, while the other is an older woman who has long settled in France, supporting newly exiled individuals.

The figures represent anyone involved in the revolution, and the mural is filled with memories and text from exiled Myanmar people, expressing what they miss most about home—food, atmosphere, and culture.

With this mural, the artist wishes to share with the viewer her experience of exile. Blending her experience of myanmar and france , she's creating a bridge between two homes symbolizing displacement , memory and hope.
