Voyage Chromatique

On the exterior wall of the Médiathèque Georges Brassens in Laon, Voyage Chromatique unfolds as a vivid visual world combining portraiture with an imaginative vision of nature.

The mural, measuring approximately ten metres wide and five metres high, was created in 2025 by French artist Céz Art. It was produced as part of the Festival International des Arts Urbains de Laon, which brings French and international urban art to locations across the city. The work continues the artist's distinctive visual language, combining animal imagery, natural forms and intense colour with elements of Pop Art.

Its location at a media library invites a particular interpretation. The fantastical forms and dreamlike atmosphere suggest an invitation to enter other worlds, much like the experience of reading a book.
