New monumental fresco in Chambéry, Grenette district by the artists of the La Maise collective: NERO, JULIE TARDIVEL, ELGATO, AMOK and HIGH

The beginnings of our intention to paint this facade began almost 10 years ago with the creation of our association.

Today it is done thanks to the work of the artists and volunteers of our team and several employees of the town hall of Chambéry and more particularly Fouzia Hamoudi who allowed us to carry out this project.

We also thank @savoie_le_departement.

This fresco evokes part of the history of the district where La Grenette was a grain market.

The hen ? It is a double reference both to the grains of Grenette but also geographical because the design of the Savoie valleys forms a hen.

From there, the artists took up the subject to show their know-how and through a game of association of ideas to achieve this collective achievement which leaves room for imagination.

This fresco is subject to renewal every 2 or 3 years.

The events surrounding the creation of this fresco allowed numerous human encounters during the Grenette en Fête event. We thank everyone who gave us such a warm welcome.
