Title: The Sower
Mural created in April 2023 on the facade of the former City Hall, now municipal police, by 3 artists from the Collective de la Maise (@collectifdelamaise), Amok (@amok.deco), Palm (@p__alm), and Elgato.Using several visuals, the Collective proposes the facade project to the Town Hall of La Motte Servolex, which accepts and funds the project, which will be carried out closely with the city's first street art festival, "Painting & Co." They thus opt for "The Sower" (visual by Amok) as a symbol of freedom (the Phrygian cap worn by freed slaves in Roman times, taken up during the revolution) and for its republican values (which could formerly be found on stamps or coins). The style of this mural takes inspiration from Art Nouveau, in sepia tones, retaining much of the original background color for a light, airy effect, while maintaining harmony with the rest of the building.
