Marco Recchia

Cette peinture murale se trouve près de Bois-du-Luc, la plus ancienne mine de Belgique fermée en 1973 et classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Avec ce portrait de Marco Recchia, un mineur de 95 ans et en plus le dernier en vie, Telmo Miel rend un grand hommage à l'héritage et au patrimoine minier.

This mural can be found near Bois-du-Luc, the oldest mine in Belgium that closed in 1973 and is now UNESCO World Heritage. With this portrait of Marco Recchia, a 95-year-old mineworker and on top of that the last one currently alive, Telmo Miel pays a grand homage to the mining legacy and heritage.
