Falar en esperanto, viaxar no tempo

 For the first edition of Istmo Fest.
A unión entre a a arte e a rúa, a conexión entre a cidade histórica e os barrios.
Comeza a primeira edición do proxecto de arte urbana de A Coruña que achegará varias intervecións muralísticas dirixidas a construír un gran galería de arte pública na cidade.
6 intervencións murais en 6 localizacións diferentes da cidade, que axudarán á rexeneración e a dinamización das zonas nas que se leven a cabo, facendo que tanto a poboación local coma os visitantes,  adquiran un incentivo para visitar e desfrutar por medio da arte urbana desas zonas a priori menos visitadas.

A música conéctate con xente que vive no rincón máis insospechado do planeta, sintonízate cun descoñecido sen que ningún dos dous o saibades, compartindo o mesmo sentimento, o mesmo anhelo, a mesma viaxe a través do tempo e o espazo.
A música pode ser oscura, lenta, electrizante, aburrida, apabullante, extraña, fresca, inqueda, elegante, pomposa... A música ten o poder de activarte, de relaxarte, de facerche rir, chorar ou gritar... Sen música non habería baile.

A música é irmá da pintura, do deseño, da moda, da publicidade, da danza, do cine... É unha constante na nosa vida, querámolo ou non.
A música é infinita e un aprendizaxe continuo. Ensínase, apréndese, compártese, pero por enriba de todo, a música se sinte.

Esta é a miña aportación ao festival Istmo 2023, unha reflexión acerca do que significa para min a música, parte inherente do que son e o que fago. Un momento concreto, unha abstracción acerca da idea de sentir, comprender e compartir.

E falando de compartir, creei unha pequena lista con algunhas das cancións que me acompañaron durante os cinco días que pasei pintando este mural sobre as paredes da Escola Municipal de Música da miña cidade de adopción, A Coruña."

 Istmo Fest
The union between art and the street, the connection between the historic city and the neighborhoods.
The first edition of the urban art project of A Coruña begins, which will bring several mural interventions aimed at building a large public art gallery in the city.
6 mural interventions in 6 different locations in the city, which will help the regeneration and dynamism of the areas in which they are carried out, making both the local population and visitors acquire an incentive to visit and enjoy through urban art those areas priori least visited.

Music can be dark, slow, electrifying, boring, overwhelming, strange, fresh, restless, elegant, pompous... Music has the power to activate you, to relax you, to make you laugh, cry or scream... Without music, no there would be dancing

Music is the sister of painting, design, fashion, advertising, dance, cinema... It is a constant in our lives, whether we like it or not.
Music is endless and a continuous learning. It is taught, learned, shared, but above all, music is felt.

This is my contribution to the Istmo 2023 festival, a reflection on what music means to me, an inherent part of who I am and what I do. A concrete moment, an abstraction about the idea of feeling, understanding and sharing.

And speaking of sharing, I created a short list with some of the songs that accompanied me during the five days I spent painting this mural on the walls of the Municipal School of Music in my adopted city, A Coruña."
