This striking mural lines a narrow underpass with a repeating sequence of pale, mask-like faces set against a deep black background. Each face is rendered simply – heavy-lidded eyes, long noses and soft pink cheeks – creating a quiet, almost solemn rhythm as you move through the space.

Thin white lines drip downward like strings or rain, adding a sense of suspension and unease, as though the figures are hanging or emerging from the darkness. Small variations between faces – subtle expressions, marks, and symbols in the eyes – invite closer inspection and suggest individuality within repetition.

The limited palette and raw brick texture give the work a haunting, introspective feel. As you walk beneath the archway, the mural turns the passage into a moment of pause, prompting reflection on identity, anonymity, and being seen while moving through the city.
