The magic Kubelwagen.

The owner of this building has been touring the world in his Kübelwagen for the last 35 years. He wanted to make his building feel more his own and unique. We wanted to share his sense of freedom and exploration that he gets from his car with community and people passing by. Although his Kübelwagen doesn't fly, it was a detail we added to spark imagination and inspire ,not only, the youth. Often we get stuck in routines and life can slip past. This mural serves to inspire us to enjoy and find the beauty in the journey.

The building owner has also done almost 1000 scuba dives. Since we love diving too, we decided to create the subtle feeling that you are looking up from the bottom of the ocean through the artwork. Fish and marine life speckle the mural, details which reveal themselves over time.
