Op zaterdag 4 oktober 2025 vond in de fietserstunnel aan het station van Heist-op-den-Berg de 'Kosmo Jam' plaats. De jam werd georganiseerd door de lokale artiest Steye Vermunicht, in samenwerking met café De Kosmonaut.

Deze muurschildering is van Kymo One. Hij volgde een opleiding als grafisch illustrator en heeft een passie voor kunst in de publieke ruimte, waarbij het zijn drijfveer is om kunst toegankelijk te maken voor een breed publiek. Hij haalt zijn inspiratie uit klassieke kunstwerken, de wereld van het surrealisme en hedendaagse kunst.

On Saturday 4 October 2025, the “Kosmo Jam” took place in the bicycle tunnel at the Heist-op-den-Berg station. The jam was organised by local artist Steye Vermunicht, in collaboration with café De Kosmonaut.

This mural was made by Kymo One. He was trained as a graphic illustrator and has a passion for art in public spaces, his motivation being to make art accessible to a wide audience. He draws inspiration from classical artworks, the world of surrealism and contemporary art.
