MACCA Club en El Mono Pintado Records

Aan het Van Veldekeplein in Hasselt vind je de MACCA Club: een concertzaal, bar, restaurant, concept store en art gallery in één.

Met 'MACCA Talks - Under the Influence' start er een gloednieuwe maandelijkse reeks waarbij Jurgen Beckers (muziekjournalist bij Humo) in gesprek gaat met relevante stemmen uit de muziekwereld. De eerste gast was Jazz Brak van het Brusselse hiphopcollectief Stikstof.

Je vindt bij MACCA ook wisselende expo's. Momenteel kan je er onder de noemer 'A life in pictures' de foto's van de Belgische rockfotograaf Raymond Lemmens gaan bewonderen.

Bij de instore platenwinkel El Mono Pintado records kan je terecht voor de betere vinylplaten. Deze platenzaak ademt als het ware muziek. Zwangere Guy kwam er onlangs nog zijn nieuwe album 'Dit is Guy' voorstellen.

Naast de Macca Club vind je de Cambrinus, één van de laatste authentieke bruine cafés van Hasselt.

'MACCA Talks - Under the Influence' is a brand new monthly series in which Jurgen Beckers (music journalist at Humo) talks to relevant voices from the music world. The first guest was Jazz Brak from the Brussels hip hop collective Stikstof.

MACCA also hosts changing exhibitions. Currently, you can admire the photos of Belgian rock photographer Raymond Lemmens under the title “A life in pictures”.

The in-store record shop El Mono Pintado records is the place to be for the best vinyl records. This record shop exudes music, as it were. Zwangere Guy recently came here to present his new album “Dit is Guy”.

Next to the Macca Club, you can find the Cambrinus, one of the last authentic brown cafés in Hasselt.
