A travers leurs créations, les artistes de Phayam Production, Marina Gutiérrez et Antoine Mathurin, veulent attirer l’attention du public sur les préoccupations actuelles en matière d’écologie.

Pour cela, ils mettent en valeur plusieurs espèces végétales ou animales peu connus ou à défendre. Ici le Bubulilla ou Huppe fasciée, espèce menacée qu’il est parfois possible d’apercevoir en Wallonie au printemps... pour les très chanceux. Travailler sur de grandes peintures murales leurs permet de se concentrer à grande échelle sur de petites choses que l’on remarquerait à peine. Ils jouent sur la perception des choses anodines en inversant les rapports de grandeur pour questionner notre rapport à la réalité. Par l’utilisation de couleurs vives et chaleureuses, ils proposent aux utilisateurs une invitation au voyage dans un environnement végétal fantaisiste et évocateur illustré par un graphisme moderne.

Où ? Dans le tunnel du Ravel entre Emptinne et Ciney. Se garer à hauteur du N45 de la rue du Relais à Emptinne et marcher sur le Ravel vers Ciney. L'oeuvre se trouve à 300m.

Through their creations, the artists from Phayam Production, Marina Gutiérrez and Antoine Mathurin, want to draw the public's attention to current ecological concerns.

To do this, they highlight a number of little-known plant and animal species that are in need of protection. Here, the Bubulilla or Hoopoe, an endangered species that can sometimes be seen in Wallonia in spring... for the very lucky. Working on large-scale murals allows them to focus on small things that we would hardly notice. They play on our perception of trivial things by inverting size relationships to question our relationship with reality. Using bright, warm colours, they invite users to take a journey through a whimsical, evocative plant environment illustrated by modern graphics.

Where? In the Ravel tunnel between Emptinne and Ciney. Park near the N45 on rue du Relais in Emptinne and walk along the Ravel towards Ciney. The work is 300m away.
