L.E.T. integrated the building's existing architecture into the painting by utilizing the overhead concrete canopy directly above the wall. He painted the wall to look like a water surface with a shark emerging from it. This visual trick turns the solid concrete canopy into a floating pier or dock positioned right over the water.
