Quandialla Mural

An artwork which celebrates the history of Quandialla including a commemoration of servicemen and women and the town's rich agricultural history, organised by the 2023 Soldiers Memorial Hall Executive. Made possible as part of a grant application to the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal.

The lone soldier in the poppy fields, standing at attention beside the cenotaph, paying homage to all our servicemen and women. The 30 class engine, a focal point and regular sight on our line at the time. The fettlers working, railway station, water tank and silos, all familiar sights. The Weddin Mountains in the background, a vista locals enjoy every day. All the scenes depicting important parts of our history.
