"Lean on me" 2026

The portraits depict two people leaning on each other, designed to remind the community to support each other. We all have moments of vulnerability as well as the chances to show compassion or understanding.

Sisters, teammates, friends, community — no matter how busy our lives become, we are all still part of something bigger.

This mural captures the connection between Holland, Michigan and The Netherlands by by depicting the tulips and windmill, and many smaller details more visible in person due to the scale of the wall.
