Located on the south side of Argyle Street, on the staircase down to Glasgow Central Station.

Based on an Advertising Poster for Joseph Wright's Drooko Umbrella Co, which was produced by Margaret and Frances MacDonald.

Margaret and Frances Macdonald were pioneering Scottish artists and key figures of Art Nouveau and the "Glasgow Style". Alongside their respective husbands, Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Herbert MacNair, they formed a highly influential creative collective known as "The Four".

Joseph Wright, a Glasgow lay preacher, philanthropist and writer, was also the manufacturer of the 'Drooko' umbrella in Glasgow between 1885 and 1912.

The Drooko Umbrella ( the name is inspired by the Scots word

"Drookit" meaning soaked).
