Glasgow Kelpie

Painted during the Yardworks Festival.

The kelpie is a mythological shape-changing spirit of Scottish folklore. They are said to haunt rivers and streams, usually in the shape of a horse. They are malevolent spirits unless you manage to hold the kelpie’s bridle.

This particular kelpie is able to change form to buildings and landmarks of Glasgow and is benevolent in nature except when threatened." Andy Council (@andycouncil)
