“This mural looks at the sea, a sea that separates and unites hopes, lands and destinies. It is a tribute to all those Italians who, full of dreams and courage, left this port to reach Argentina. It is the memory of the distant past that reflects our present. Today this port of departure becomes a welcome port. Dedicated to all emigrants who left their land to re-exist elsewhere ". dedication that appears on plaque....

For the occasion, the Argentine footballer of Sampdoria, Fernando Tissone, donated his shirt, as a tribute to those who, like him, have been able to make a dream come true thanks to the friendship between Italy and Argentina."
