Herkules von Gelsenkirchen

The sculpture is an 18-meter-tall cast aluminum piece that depicts the mythological figure in a modern interpretation. The sculpture retains the natural color of the raw material; only the hair and beard are painted blue. The mouth features small red lips, and the blue-black eyes on a white background are simply painted on.
