Doorway Bergmannstraße 9

At Bergmannstraße 9 in Gelsenkirchen, right next to the former gallery shop, there is a prominent gate entrance that features large-scale graffiti artwork painted by Beni Veltum & friends. The entrance served as a visual calling card for the artist in the public space, showcasing his signature bright, colorful pop-art and graffiti style. Even though Veltum had to permanently abandon the gallery in 2020 due to water damage, the colorful design on the gate and parts of the facade remained as a street art element in the Ückendorf district.
