The passage features a colourful jungle world with exotic plants, rock formations and a luminous night sky.
The “Jungle Tunnel” was designed by Michael Dreher, an artist based in Offenbach. Dreher has already designed several bars, shops and other social spaces in the Rhine-Main region. He is known to be a great enthusiast of so-called Tiki culture.
Tiki culture is an American leisure and design movement that recreates a romanticised, often fictionalised vision of the South Pacific (Polynesia, Melanesia and Micronesia). It originated in the 1930s.
